Maximiliano Bagnasco Interview – 11- 12-2021
1- How do you define yourself? How do you define your projects?
I am an artist who works in many variations into the art. Today they know my work of realism. I am an artist of realism, but I do not like to copy photos, I always put my personal touch on it.
2- How did you start working on street art?
I began to teach many artists, within them there were tattooists and muralists. So with them we began to paint. I am new to street art, I started in 2016. But I was quickly able to be in good places within this environment, because I already had a career in the field of art.
3- Where do you find the inspiration to create your projects? Are they modifiers of urban space?
At all times one is inspired to create ideas, When they are not for paintings, they are for murals.
Each mural that is made modifies the place, changes its history or becomes part of a place.
4- What does Street Art represent for you in this constantly changing world?
We are lucky to be part of that change. It is a trend and all places now consider that they have to have a mural.
5- Do you think Street Art should be legal or should it continue to be a form of art pursued by the police? Have you ever had problems?
I always made it legal and I think they have to make it legal. But it also has its cute side and adrenaline that is not legal.
6- How long does it usually take to prepare each project?
If it is a small mural I can do it in 1 or 2 days. I made the biggest ones in 10 days approx.
